Maintenance colocation switch BIT-2C

On Thursday the 9th of March we will perform maintenance on a colocation switch in BIT-2C between 0.00h and 2.00h. During this maintenance, one blade to which customers are connected will be reset. As a result, we expect connections of custommers connected to this switch to be disrupted for a few minutes.

The blade reset is needed because of a failure in the self diagnostic module. Self diagnostics are used to detect problems, so the current problem does not affect traffic, but it may be harder to detect possible problems.

We want to point out that not just customer equipment in BIT-2C is connected to this switch. Customer equipment in BIT-2A and BIT-2B may be connected as well for redundancy purposes. You can determine if you are connected to these blades on this switch by checking if 'uplink to GigabitEthernet4/<number>@rbfs1.bit-2c' is specified on your invoice. You can find your invoice in the Customer Portal.
