18-09-2018 00:00:00
- 18-09-2018 07:00:00
Urgency: planned
Affected services:
- customers with equipment in BIT-1
Expected Impact:
- possible loss of power redundancy
Customer intervention required: no
Referencenumber: 153642
Summary:
On Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th of September between 0.00h and 7.00h our UPS-set supplier will be performing maintenance on our UPS-sets in BIT-1. During this maintenance the UPS-sets will be put in bypass mode one by one. We do not expect any disruption in the power supply. If you have received warnings from BIT that your total power consumption is close to the limit, we recommend that you take action before this maintenance starts. In case of disruption of one of the power feeds, which we do not expect, the other feed will be available as normal. We do recommend that you check if your equipment is connected to both power feeds.
Details:
During the maintenance our batteries will be receiving the BACS management system. This system will continuously monitor the state of all the individual batteries. This system will also equalize the voltage over the batteries.
