At around 17:00h today the BIT network became completely unavailable which had its effect on all services. Because www.bit.nl was unavailable the incident and updates on the incident have been posted on www.bit.org/status. The incident course can be seen on that site. All services have been restored. The outage was caused by a corrupt configuration on all leaf swtches. The root cause of that corruption is still under investigation. We will publish a RFO on our site.
