On Friday August 16th between 00:00 hrs and 07:00 hrs engineers from BIT will perform maintenance on the Ceph storage cluster. The cluster will be expanded with extra storage nodes.

We do not expect noticeable impact on the cluster during this maintenance. The cluster will be expanded in a controlled way with extra storage nodes. We do not expect any impact on availability or services using the cluster. However, every upgrade comes with (extra) risks, therefore the expansion will take place during a maintenance window.
