Summary:
The upload server of the Shared Linux Hosting platform will be replaced by a new server. We will also update the software on the server to add support for PHP 7.2 and remove support for PHP 5.5. Support for PHP 7.0 will remain on the new server. During the maintenance, the upload server will be unavailable.

The upload server will be replaced by a new server with a new operating system. With this new operating system we will add support for PHP 7.2 and remove support for PHP 5.5. Support for PHP 7.0 will remain to have support for the PHP versions of both Shared Hosting Platforms on the new upload server. During the replacement of the server it will not be possible to up or download files for websites through upload.bit.nl and cronjobs which are scheduled in the maintenance window might not be executed.
