Summary:
Periodic maintenance is done on chillers and downflow units in BIT-2A.
Details:
The downflow units (responsible for blowing cold air in the data centers) will be shut down for maintenance one at a time. This may result in a slight temporary increase in temperature in specific partsof the data center. The chillers of BIT-2A will be shut down for maintenance one at a time as well. The remaining two chillers have sufficient capacity to cool the data center.
The maintenance will take place every workday between 08:00 and 17:30 hrs
This maintenance will be supervised by BIT engineers, who will also monitor the temperature in the data center closely.
