Logo ISO 27001 Certificering

As of 30 June 2025, BIT has been certified via DigiTrust in accordance with the NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 27001:2023/A1:2024 standard.

The new certification is an update to the 2017 version of the ISO 27001 standard and demonstrates that our services meet the latest requirements in risk management, security processes, and continuous improvement. Although the certificate’s expiry date (1 January 2026) remains unchanged, this underscores our ongoing commitment to optimal information security and compliance.

What this means for our customers

With this certification, we guarantee that the security of data and systems is maintained in line with the most recent international standards. Customers can trust that their information is in safe hands with us.

Before 1 January 2026, a new recertification will follow, during which we will again be assessed against the applicable standards at that time.

About the standard

The ISO/IEC 27001 standard is globally recognised as the benchmark for information security management. The revised 2023 version introduces refinements in requirements, particularly in risk management and governance, ensuring the standard remains aligned with current digital challenges. Additionally, Amendment A1:2024 adds a mandatory component: the impact of climate change must now be included in the context analysis.
