Sustainable Cooling Solutions

At BIT, we cool our data centre equipment as sustainably as possible. With all those servers running, you can imagine the amount of heat they generate! We harness this heat intelligently, using it to warm our adjacent visitor centre, BIT-MeetMe. Beyond that, our data centres are cooled using outside air, and all installations are designed for maximum energy efficiency. And of course, our cooling systems are fully redundant and built to the highest safety standards.

Data Centre Cooling

BIT’s data centres are filled with servers that generate significant heat. Increased computing activity means greater heat output—requiring specialised, scalable, and reliable thermal management. Inadequate cooling can lead to costly downtime.

Our cooling system, combined with closed cold corridors, ensures optimal temperature regulation for all equipment. The entire installation—including pumps and piping—is fully redundant. Additionally, the system is highly energy-efficient, reducing both environmental impact and operational costs. We utilise outside air for cooling and repurpose residual heat to warm our neighbouring visitor centre, BIT-MeetMe.
