Create your own VMs via the customer portal

Existing customers with the appropriate portal permissions can now create new virtual machines (VMs) themselves via the BIT customer portal. This gives you greater flexibility to scale your infrastructure whenever required, without the involvement of support.

The provisioning process is fully automated. Once the desired settings have been entered and confirmed, the virtual machine is deployed immediately on the BIT infrastructure. In practice, this means that a new VM is ready for use within minutes and can be put into operation straight away.

The ability to create VMs independently is available exclusively to existing customers who have the appropriate portal permissions. This approach ensures that access remains secure and well controlled.
