Disruption BIT network
Description
A disruption ons our network is reported. Investigations on reason and impact is being carried out. As soon as more info comes available we will update this incident report.

Our telephony is down at this moment as a result of the disruption. We are working on making the telephony server outside our network available.

We are reachable by phone using our out-of-band telephony server.

An faulty change to one of the firewall caused the disruption. This faulty change has been reversed and services are recovering. We will investigate how this could have happened.

All services are back available. A human error during a firewall change caused the disruption. The affected services were:
* email services
* BIT’s own telephony
* www.bit.nl
* databases on our shared database servers and as a consequence many websites on shared hosting
