Summary:

During this maintenance, the Object Storage Daemons (OSDs) in the CephFS cluster will be taken offline and brought back online one by one to resolve an undesirable condition in the cluster.

Details:

An undesirable condition has arisen in the CephFS cluster which could, at some point, lead to a (serious) disruption. This preventative maintenance will resolve the undesirable condition. To this end, all OSDs in the cluster will be switched off and on, one by one. The cluster is designed in such a way that up to one-third of the OSDs may fail without affecting the cluster’s availability. Consequently, no impact is expected from this preventative maintenance. The maintenance will be carried out by BIT engineers.
