- Backups can not be made for a short period of time
- Existing backups can not be accessed for a short period of time

Summary:
A new backup server and new backup storage will be taken into service. While taking the server into service it is not possible to create new backups. After taking the new storage into service existing backups cannot be accessed for a short period of time while they are migrating to the new storage.
Details:
A new backup server will replace the current backup server. While replacing the server it is not possible to create new backups. After replacing the server we will also replace the storage servers for the backup platform. We will then migrate existing backups to the new storage. During this migration it is possible that existing backups can not be accessed by customers. BIT engineers however, will be able to access all backups at any time. If you unexpectedly need access to the backups during the migration please contact us by phone so we can manually provide access to them.
