Summary:
Vodafone will perform maintenance on the equipment used to hand over UMTS/4G traffic to BIT.
Details:
During this maintenance Vodafone will replace the equipment used to hand over traffic to BIT with new equipment which supports newer technologies like 5G and IPv6. As a result of this maintenance, we expect UMTS/4G connections to be disrupted for one hour at most. Of course, tests will be performed by engineers of Vodafone and BIT to verify if the service is working correctly.
Update placed at 08/01/2021, 0:58h: This maintenance has been completed successfully. Service was restored at 0:40h. If you have any problems with your mobile internet connection, please deactivate and then reactivate 'mobile data' on your device first. If that does not resolve the issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.
