Emergency maintenance shared MySQL databases
28-01-2021 21:00:00
- 29-01-2021 02:00:00
Urgency: Emergency
Affected services:
- MSSQL Instances
- MSSQL shared databases
Expected impact:
- Loss of redundancy in the platform
Customer intervention required: No
Reference number: 172434
Summary:
The standby node of the MSSQL cluster entered a state where it might not be able to act as an active node in the cluster. To resolve this issue we will reboot the standby node.
Details:
In the MSSQL cluster the network of the standby node entered an unknown state. In this unknown state we are not sure it will be able to act as an active node if a switchover is performed. During the maintenance we will reboot the standby node to get the network back in a proper state. During this reboot the cluster will not be redundant.
