Replacement of leaf-sw1.bit-2b

- Disruption of the network connection for approximately 30 minutes

Summary:
Switch leaf-sw1.bit-2b logs memory errors and will be replaced by a spare switch.
Details:
The switch is logging memory errors. Since this is ECC (error correction code) memory there is no direct impact, faulty memory is not used. The switch vendor advises us to replace the switch. In this maintenance we will replace the switch with a spare switch, all physical connections will be moved.
We normally announce maintenance two weeks in advance. Following the advice of our switch vendor we will not wait for two weeks, but combine this maintenance with the maintenance on BIT switches in BIT-2A which was already announced.
You can find out to which switch you are connected by checking your invoice or network statistics in the customer portal.

The switch was replaced succesfully. All customer connections on the switch have been restored.
