Summary:
Firmware of our DWDM equipment in BIT-2 and InterXion Science Park will be updated. No disruption of traffic is expected.
Details:
In the maintenance window of June 24th we added additional cards to the DWDM equipment to provision new wavelengths. Unfortunately, these cards require a newer version of the chassis firmware. In the upcomming maintenance we will update the firmware on both DWDM devices. We do not expect any disruption of active wavelengths on this connection. In the event of a disruption, internet traffic will be rerouted automatically. Customers with their own wavelength on this path will experience downtime in the event of a disruption.

The firmware upgrade on the DWDM equipment located at BIT-2A has been successfully completed without disruption.
In about one hour we will commence the upgrade of the DWDM equipment located at InterXion Science Park.
