Emergency maintenance down flow control unit BIT-2D
11-10-2021 15:00:00
- 11-10-2021 16:00:00
Urgency: Emergency
Affected services: colocation BIT-2D
Expected Impact: limited, short term fluctuation in temperature
Customer intervention required: No
Referencenumber: 176491
Summary:
The control unit of one of the downflow units in BIT-2D will be reset. A limited, short term fluctuation of temperature is possible.
Details:
The control unit of one of the downflow units (HVAC) in BIT-2D is malfuntioning. This results in a limited view on the status of that part of the cooling infrastructure. This limitation is a risk for the availability of our services. Therefore we will reset the control unit at 15:00 hrs. Resetting the unit increases the chance that the downflow unit will stop functioning. The other downflow units in the server room however will continue to work and will cool the server room. This might result in a limited, short term fluctuation of the temperature.
