DNS server interrupts

A sudden, high increase of the amount of DNS requests is causing our authorative nameservers to be limited available. Engineers are working on mitigation.

Some counter measures are in place, this has heavily reduced the load on the machines. Unfortunately some nuisance remains. Other mitigating options are under investigation.

Our measures are in place and show their effect. At the same time the amount of incoming requests has dropped dramatically. At the moment there is no more nuisance.
