Access Router Maintenance
05-10-2022 00:00:00
- 05-10-2022 07:00:00
Urgency: Planned
Affected services: Various Internet Access services
- xDSL
- FTTO
- Extended Ethernet
Impact: Intermittent disruption of internet access
Customer intervention required: No
Reference number: 180443
Summary:
On Wednesday 5 October between 0:00 and 7:00 we will connect our access routers to the new core network.
Details:
The two access routers will be switched from the old (Extreme Networks) to the new (Arista) core network. Services such as xDSL, Extended Ethernet, FiberToOffice and Pinnen over IP are handled on these access routers. Additional connections between the routers will be deployed to increase the resilience of the services. The access routers will also be preemptively rebooted due to a known memory leak.
Customers with a non-redundant connection on one of the aforementioned services will experience one or more outages during this maintenance.
Update placed at 05/10/2022, 2:05h:
