Summary:
Both servers on which the Microsoft SQL instances are running will receive OS updates. As a result, there will be two moments during which the SQL instances will be briefly inaccessible.
Details:
During maintenance, the servers on which the Microsoft SQL instances are running will receive the necessary OS updates. The SQL instances will be moved to the standby server during maintenance, so that the active server can be restarted. Once the active server is accessible again, the SQL instances will be moved back to this server. The SQL instance will be inaccessible for several minutes while it is being moved.
SQL instance backups that normally start during maintenance will now be manually started after maintenance.
