Today between 14:12 and 14:15, a disruption occurred on our load balancers which caused various load balanced services to be unavailable for a short time.
BIT engineers immediately started working on the problem to find out what could have been the cause.

The disruption was caused by a momentary (exceptional) spike in requests from 1 customer on the shared hosting platform. The load balancers could not handle this amount of requests.
