Outage fiber BIT-1 - Telecity 2
We're experiencing an outage on the fiber between BIT-1 and Telecity 2 since 12.17h. Traffic has been rerouted via other paths, a short disruption of connections may have been observed.
Our fiber provider is currently investigating this problem.

The supplier is measuring the connection to find the location of the damage. Please expect that it will take a considerable amount of time to repair the fiber.

Measurements indicate a complete cable break. The location of this break has been determined, a repair crew is on its way.

The location of the cable break is under or near a canal in Utrecht. The repair crew is currently digging to determine the exact location of the fiber cut.

An attempt is being made to pull a new fiber through a undamaged fiber duct.

This attempt failed. Our provider is now looking for alternative fiber ducts of other providers to use.
