Grand opening new BIT-MeetMe and the 20th anniversary of BIT

In the recent months we have worked very hard on the new visitor centre BIT-MeetMe. The opening of BIT-MeetMe and the 20th anniversary of BIT had to be celebrated in a festive manner of course. Therefore the grand opening on Friday the 8th of January was set up entirely in style with the Moulin Rouge.
We received over 400 guests during the opening of BIT-MeetMe, most of them fantastically decked out for the Moulin Rouge theme.
The guests were taken out of their daily routine during the evening and could enjoy the delicious snacks that were served and the various activities that were offered. For example, guests could have themselves drawn by a caricaturist or have their picture taken in the ‘do-it-yourselfie-box’. And to completely unwind, even wonderful chair massages were offered.
The musical program of the evening was provided by DJ Joshua Walter, accompanied by a singer, percussionist and saxophonist. In the highlight of the evening, the four performers managed to put on a fantastic show.
We look back on a fantastic opening that we will remember fondly for a very long time!
