[Update] We are, due to several unforseen situations, not able to complete this maintenance. Several improvements will be postponed and rescheduled to another maintenance window.

Following the annual electrical inspection we will make a number of improvements to the electrical infrastructure. This maintenance will take place on October 6th between 00:00h and 07:00h.

To be able to make the improvements the following will be important for the customer;

BIT-2A
The entire A feed and several distribution panels of feed B will be serviced one at a time, resulting is loss of power, on the feed serviced, for several minutes.
BIT-2B
The bypass power for both UPS'es on this floor will be serviced, one at a time. The UPS'es will not lose there primary power feed and will function as intended. The power feed serviced will only lose complete power in the unlikely event of a failing UPS during the maintenance.
BIT-2C
The distribution panel providing power to four out of eight HVAC units will be serviced. This will most likely result in a slight temperature raise.

At all times at least one of two power feeds in your rack will be in full operation, the remaining feed is able to power all the systems.

If you have received warnings from BIT that your total power consumption is close to the limit, we recommend that you take action before this maintenance starts and we recommend that you check if your equipment is connected to both power feeds or connected to a Automatic Transfer Switch.

This maintenance will be supervised by BIT engineers.
