opgelost
Around 7.21h we've noticed a disruption in the services provided on the fiber between BIT-1 and Telecity 2 in Amsterdam. Traffic is diverted, but chances are that you may have experienced connection issues during this transition. Customers with a separate 'wave' between BIT-1 and Telecity could still experience downtime for their connection.
Engineers are working hard to find the root cause and possible solution.
Update placed at 10:55h
Measurements have shown that the fiber itself is undamaged. The incident is caused by a defective booster in our transmission equipment in Amsterdam. Engineers are working on resolving this issue.
Update placed at 13:05h
After performing several tests and consulting the vendor we have concluded that the booster is defective. An engineer is en route to Amsterdam with a replacement booster.
