Periodic maintenance cooling system BIT-1
14-11-2018 08:00:00
- 14-11-2018 17:30:00
Urgency: Planned
Affected services: customers with equipment in BIT-1
Expected Impact: light increase in temperature
Customer intervention required: No
Referencenumber: 158091
Summary:
Periodic maintenance cooling system BIT-1
Details:
The downflow (responsible for blowing cold air in the datacenters) units will be shut down for maintenance one at a time. This may result in a slight temporary increase in temperature in specific parts of the datacenter.
The four chillers of BIT-1 will be shut down one at a time for maintenance. Typically, one single chiller has enough cooling capacity for BIT-1.
This maintenance will be supervised by BIT engineers who will monitor the temperature in the datacenter closely.
