Maintenance core routers

On Friday April 22nd between 0.00h and 6.00h we will perform maintenance on our core routers. This maintenance is required to analyse the root cause of a redundancy problem of our access network. This maintenance will be performed by engineers of BIT and our supplier.

This maintenance was completed successfully. During the maintenance parts of our network were disrupted a few times for several minutes. Our vendor has performed a large number of tests and gathered a large amount of logs. Based on the test they have determined the cause of our problems. They hope to find the cause and solution to our problems with the logs and debugging information they gathered.
Our supplier has attempted to find the root cause of the problem by analysing logs collected during the maintenance of April 13th. With the information gathered our supplier has requested some additional tests and logs. Therefore we need to perform an extra series of tests which will cause disruption on our network. We strive to reduce the length and impact of these tests to an absolute minimum, but unfortunately there is no other way to find the cause of these problems.
