problems on ring switch BIT-2A

Since approximately 6.45h we observe problems on the ring switch in BIT-2A. This switch is only used for providing direct copper connections between BIT-2A and BIT-1. Customers using this product will observe large amounts of packetsloss and as a result bad connections on these links.
We need to reboot this switch. As a result, connections between BIT-1 and BIT-2 over this ring will be disrupted for several minutes. We expect to perform this reboot before 7.30h.

The switch has been turned off and on again. We do not see any errors in our logs indicating software problems anymore. No packetloss between BIT-2A and BIT-1 has been observed since the reboot.
