Status:
resolved
We suddenly lost connectivity to our routers in London and Frankfurt and suspect a damaged glass fiber somewhere in the route from BIT to those locations. We've contacted our supplier.
Network traffic might have experienced some hickups while our routers recalculated new routes.
Update at 01-08-2020, 17:04
We have yet to receive more information about the outtage from our supplier.
Update at 01-08-2020, 20:33
The fiber was damaged and will be repaired over the next hours.
If you have any questions, please contact Customer Care via +31 (0)318 648 688 or support@bit.nl.
Update at 02-08-2020, 07:50
The fiber had been impacted by a farmer plowing in a field. The fiber has been repaired and is operational again.
